Accessibility
Designed to be used by everyone.
Mon Élan is committed to providing a digital experience that is accessible to people with disabilities. This statement applies to the Mon Élan marketing site (monelan.co), the patient portal, and the clinician workspace.
Our standard
Mon Élan targets compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Where deviations exist, we treat them as defects and prioritize remediation. We audit our marketing and patient surfaces with both automated tooling (axe-core via Playwright) and manual assistive-technology testing on a recurring cadence.
Specific commitments
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and meaningful UI controls.
- Full keyboard operability across every page and every interactive control.
- Visible focus indicators on every focusable element.
- Semantic HTML landmarks, headings, and ARIA roles where appropriate.
- Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image; null alt on decorative imagery.
- Captions on all video content; transcripts on all audio.
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query — motion components degrade to instant fades. - Mobile tap targets at minimum 44×44 px.
